    Dr. Debashish Das

    Dr. Debashish Das (Physiotherapist) is an accredited and registered physiotherapist with both the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. He is an associate member of Sports Medicine Australia and Sports Physiotherapy Australia. Upon completion of his post-graduation in Orthopaedics at the University of South Australia, he developed niche expertise in the conservative management of acute trauma, working in an advanced role in an Emergency Department at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. He established himself as an Orthopaedic and Sports physiotherapist consulting at a private practice where he assessed, diagnosed and managed the rehabilitation of wide ranging clientele of different age groups and musculoskeletal needs.

    Debashish was also involved in providing acute care and rehabilitation to sports persons and during sporting events. Whether you are an athlete, an office worker or a retiree you will find that Debashish can offer you just the care that you need.

    Dr. Tina Teckchandani

    Dr. Tina Teckchandani (Physiotherapist) is an orthopaedic physiotherapist working at myPhysoi since November 2015. She offers specialized rehabilitation for post fracture / joint replacement surgery, general conditioning and mobility programs for the elderly.She also offers management of general orthopaedic conditions.

    Tina completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from SardarBhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research (SBSPGI), Dehradun in 2011 and Post-Graduation in Orthopedics (Manual Therapy), Gold Medalist, from Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCOAHS), Manipal University – Bengaluru Campus in 2015.

    Tina has interest in research and has advanced postgraduate level training in evidence based research. She has updated her skills in clinical reasoning, individual joint assessments, soft tissue manipulation, exercise prescription and various manual therapy techniques. She has also endeavoured with running hydrotherapy classes from 2017 summer.Tina also runs aqua aerobic classes .

    Dr. Shuchi Kataruka

    Dr. Shuchi Kataruka (Physiotherapist) has been working with myPhysio since January 2016. Shuchi has a Masters in Clinical Biomechanics from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen (Scotland, UK, 2014). She graduated (MPT-sports and clinical biomechanics) from the School of Allied Health Sciences, Manipal University (Manipal, India 2012) and has registration with the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and Indian Association of Physiotherapists.

    Shuchi has a keen interest in human performance analysis, with a focus on identifying altered movement patterns and their correction. She provides particular expertise in the assessment and rehabilitation of running injuries. She has worked with various sports populations to optimise strength and conditioning, restore balance, reduce biomechanical overload, facilitate return to sports and injury prevention.

    Shuchi manages patients of all age groups presenting with a wide variety of orthopeadic conditions and injuries. She enjoys promoting health and fitness awareness in the community. She runs exercise classes that are goal specific and targeted towards promotion of better metabolic health and pain management. Her wider areas of interest include exercise testing and prescription, neurodynamic assessment and treatment, exercise testing and prescription and optimizing postural alignment.

    Dr Paridhi Ojha

    Dr Paridhi Ojha (Physiotherapist) is a sports physiotherapist. A national level gold medalist tennis player, she enjoys working with sports injuries with keen interest in racquet sports. She has experience in working with sports teams and organisations facilitating events in the past couple of years.

    She is a certified a Neurodynamicspractioniter and a certified Wheelchair Basketball Classifier with theInternational Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF). She hasa keen interest in yoga practice and teaching. She is currently and member with theDelhi Council For Physiotherapy And Occupational Therapy (DCPTOT) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA).
  • Pelvic floor and Continence Rehabilitation

    Dr Rebekah Das (Physiotherapist, PhD) specialises in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. This includes bladder and bowel control problems, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse. Rebekah is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of South Australia, where she has taught in the undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy programmes since 2001. Rebekah maintains an active role at the University of South Australia.

    Rebekah has presented her research at international conferences and has served as a member of the Physiotherapy Committee of the International Continence Society. Rebekah is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Whether you are a man or a woman, and whether you are young or more advanced in years, if you are troubled by bladder or bowel control problems, or pelvic pain or discomfort, Rebekah will be able to help you.

  • Fitness and weight loss classes

    At myPhsyio we encourage our patients to engage in physical activity to optimise their health according to world health organisation guidelines.

    We offer closely supervised, individualised exercise classes based on the scientific principles of high intensity interval training. Participants exercise in a small group circuit-class, completing exercises specifically designed to meet their individual goals. Regular assessments are scheduled to monitor the achievement of health and fitness goals. If you would like to exercise in a clean, safe and enjoyable environment with a physiotherapist closely supervising your progress, these classes are for you. We can cater our exercises to all ages and fitness levels.

    Classes last 45 minutes including warm up and cool down. Morning and afternoon classes are offered on weekdays and morning classes on Saturdays. Please contact us for details of timing and packages.

    Ante and post natal exercise classes

    At myPhsyio women are encouraged to exercise safely during their pregnancy and in the post natal recovery period. In particular, with growing international evidence of the importance of protecting the pelvic floor for long term pelvic health, carefully constructed and individualised pelvic floor exercises are included in our exercise programs. We also include discussion and education on pertinent topics relevant to pregnant women and new mothers during our classes and encourage women to bring their babies with them to classes if they would like to.
